Lethal methods

Why do not they work?

Rat poison

  • pollute the environment: warter, plants, atmosphere..
  • from 1/3/18 it can no longer be sold to the public,
  • mice develop distrust and consequent resistance
  • it should only be used by skilled personnel,
  • it cannot be used in the presence of foodstuffs,
  • it can poison pets like dogs and cats,

Glue

  • The mouse cannot remain glued perfectly,
  • it can die agonizing after days,
  • it can contaminate the environment with stool and urine hairs,
  • it cannot be used in the presence of children,
  • in dusty environments it can be ineffective,
  • protected animals from remain glued,
  • it can poison pets like dog and cat

Other traps

  • the mechanism often breaks,
  • the have to meet particular legal requirements,
  • rediced capture speed: mice escape,
  • made of plastic,
  • they are not thermally insulated,
  • the weed inside exudes unpleasant smells,
  • they do not monitor the passage and capture of mice trough sms

Non- lethal methods

Why do not they work?

Repellents

  • unpleasant and pungent odor
  • they cannot be used indoors, in working environmentsor in vehicles boats
  • high cost
  • in case of rain they are dispersed
  • they cannot be used in the presence of pets or children
  • they can poison pets like dog and cat
  • ineffective: mice move away but then return

Ultrasonic/ bollards

  • the sound is absorbed by solid bodies: walls, curtains, furniture
  • mice soon get used to living in very noisy environments
  • Electrical appliances require the use of electric mains
  • are not recommended in the presence of pets or children
